SENSITIVE SKIN
Physiology of a sensitive skin

Sensitive skin is skin that suffers. It is usually dehydrated and has a tendency to over-react to various factors. The symptoms of sensitive skin could be: redness and itching, tightness, burning sensations and redness.

Sensitive skin can be caused by a combination of factors, such as vascular (blood vessel fragility), contact (reaction to an ingredient in particular), environmental (including changes in temperature, cold ...) or atopy (eczema).
Effective dermatological molecules

In general, it is recommended for sensitive skin to avoid traditional skin care and opt for "sensitive skin" treatments. A good "sensitive skin" treatment will be made with a minimal number of ingredients, avoiding complex mixtures, and will restrict the use of colorants or fragrance. Some molecules are recommended for sensitive skin for their healing power, such as
Vitamin E and soothing natural ingredients like
Aloe Vera. The use of soothing thermal water is also recommended.
Adopt a healthy lifestyle

A healthy lifestyle can reduce sensitive skin reactions. Here are some daily routines to adopt:

• avoid excessive exposure to sunlight, which causes 80% of skin aging.
• préférez les soins cosmétiques avec le minimum d'ingrédients
possible, pour réduire le risque d'intolérances, sans parfum et sans colorant par example
• minimize sun exposure, or use adequate protection
(clothing, sunglasses, hat, sun cream with very high anti-UVA-UVB protection ...)
• opt for treatments with as few ingredients as possible to prevent intolerance, fragrance-free and colorant-free for example.
• avoid cleaning your skin with soap and water. Opt for soap-free cleansers
• adopt a balanced, varied and moderate diet
• respect your sleep cycles
• avoid smoking as much as possible
• get active, do some sport, reasonably but regularly
• relax, stress is an oxidation accelerator
• get fresh air, pollution attacks skin tissue
